BEHAVIOUR CONTRACT – LEVEL 3 (FINAL WARNING)

1. Purpose of This Contract
This Final Warning Behaviour Contract represents the final stage (Level 3) of Evolution Education's Behaviour Framework. It is issued when:
- A Level 2 Behaviour Contract has been unsuccessful, or
- There has been a serious breach of health, safety, or safeguarding expectations.
The purpose of this contract is to:
- Set final, non-negotiable expectations for conduct.
- Ensure the student understands the seriousness of this stage.
- Prevent placement breakdown through intensive support and accountability.
Failure to meet the conditions of this contract may result in referral to the CEO and termination of placement.
2. Expectations
- Follow all staff instructions immediately, without argument or defiance.
- Attend every session punctually.
- Engage positively in all learning activities and support sessions.
- Maintain respectful communication at all times.
- No physical or verbal aggression, intimidation, or unsafe behaviour.
- Adhere fully to all health, safety, and safeguarding guidance.
3. Support & Monitoring (Level 3)
- Daily check-in/check-out with SLT or Pathway Lead.
- Enhanced SEMH monitoring and targeted mentoring.
- Weekly case review with parent/carer and link school.
- Risk assessment reviewed and updated weekly.
- All incidents recorded and reviewed via Bromcom daily.
4. SMART Targets (Final Warning)
Target Area 1 – Conduct & Compliance
Students will:
- Follow adult instructions first time, every time.
- Demonstrate respectful language and behaviour toward staff and peers.
- Maintain 100% adherence to site expectations (uniform, punctuality, equipment).
Target Area 2 – Engagement & Learning
Students will:
- Attend all sessions consistently and on time.
- Actively participate in lessons and complete all set work.
- Use learning time productively, avoiding distractions or negative behaviour.
Target Area 3 – Regulation & Safety
Students will:
- Use taught strategies to manage emotions appropriately.
- Seek support from staff before situations escalate.
- Demonstrate safe behaviour in all areas of the site.
5. Review & Outcome
Weekly reviews will measure progress against SMART targets and incident logs.
At the 4-week review, outcomes may include:
- Successful completion: contract lifted; return to Level 2 or full reintegration.
- Extension: further 4-week period with revised support.
- Referral to CEO: if insufficient improvement, leading to possible termination of placement or temporary remote learning until behaviour improves.
6. Consequences of Non-Compliance
- Immediate removal from class or site following unsafe behaviour.
- Further safeguarding/risk assessment or internal suspension.
- Referral directly to the CEO for placement review.
- Possible termination of placement or temporary remote learning placement until improvement is demonstrated.
7. Positive Outcomes
- Stabilised placement and consistent engagement.
- Access to enrichment, vocational, and leadership opportunities.
- Recognition and celebration of improvement during assemblies.
8. Signatures
Note: This contract should be signed physically or digitally. A signed copy must be saved to Bromcom and shared with the parent school.
